Photo Diary | Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Oman #3

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque Part 1 - outdoors
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque Part 2 - indoors

At last but not least, I close this Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque tour by focusing on the details. By the way, I have been there again last saturday with friends and after the closing time, we've met people settled in the garden who where here to chat with the tourists and answer their questions. Hence we have been able to talk about general topics with them around a traditional cup of coffee (which tasted more like a spiced tea mixed with a bit of coffee though) and the best dates of the country. Furthermore, free books about religion were displayed for everybody interested.
So if you go to the mosque, don't hesitate to wait for the closing time at 11am to go meet these persons and especially an incredibly wise lady named Naïma who is there everyday except friday to help you out/chat with you (about anything, not specifically religion). Seriously, she is the most adorable woman on earth!
